Library Rules

1.Time of Library:   Monday to Saturday: 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

2.After admission the students have to collect their Identity Card & Library Reader Card from the central library.

3.The students must carry their college Identity card/library membership card with them at all time inside the library. Show the ID card whenever asked by library staff.

4.Open Access System is available in the Library.

5.Each the ent will get one book for 7 days on her reader card

6.Over dues charged for books is issued after 7 days shall be Rs.1 per book per day.

7.All personal belongings, such as personal books, bag, coat, umbrella, personal files, notebooks, photocopy materials that do not belong to the library must be kept in the property counter or rack at the entrance of the library.

8.If a book is lost a student should have to pay the double price of the same book or should submit the new copy of the book as early as possible.

9.library card is not transferable. The borrower card holders should come personally to borrow the books and the authorization is not allowed.

10.Reference books, question sets, periodical & periodical bound volume are available in Reading room only temporary issue on I Card basis.

11.Register your name and sign entering into the Reading room.

12.Books are reserved for borrowing on special demands.

13.Do not take any book or other library material out of the library without following the borrowing procedures.

14.Reader’s should not deface, mark, cut, mutilate or damage library resources in any way. Books borrowed should be protected from RAIN, FIRE etc.

15.Using of mobile phones is prohibited. Switch your mobile phone off and keep it in your bag, etc. while you are in the library.

16.Beverages and eatables are not allowed inside the library. Smoking is not permitted in the library.

17.The books may be renewed if the same are not in demand or are not reserved/ demand by other readers. The renewal will be done generally on the physical presentation of the books.

18.Silence shall be strictly observed in the Library reading hall. The position of the tables, benches, chairs should not be changed or displaced.
